What constitutes an IPALS Study?
An IPALS 'enabled' study must meet one of the following criteria:
- A study directly funded with IPALS pilot funding and/or IPALS staff time,
- An IPALS trainee or student is directly involved with the study,
- The study originated out of a discussion or idea from the IPALS team or an IPALS working group.
An IPALS 'enhanced' study must meet all of the following mandatory criteria:
- The study has at least one IPALS investigator on the study,
- The study is relevant to the overall IPALS program (i.e. unintentional injury prevention, children & youth, workers and elderly, or knowledge dissemination),
- The IPALS team members are made aware of the study (i.e. notify rest of group of the work being done and possible opportunity for involvement)
